ZTE Canada, a leading global provider of turnkey network solutions and consumer technologies, announced the launch of the TELUS Connect-Hub 5G Internet Gateway.
Connect-Hub 5G simplifies home internet access, from setup to streaming in the blink of an eye. Connect-Hub 5G comes in two versions: indoor unit and outdoor unit. Connect-Hub 5G indoor units can be placed on a flat surface in the home and moved as needed. The Connect-Hub 5G outdoor unit optimizes connectivity and enhances performance in areas with weak wireless signals, thereby increasing data throughput over your existing indoor Wi-Fi network. It has additional protection features to withstand the elements, including IP65 dust and water resistance, 6kV lightning protection, and the ability to withstand a wide temperature and humidity range from 5% to 95%.
Connect-Hub 5G indoor and outdoor units support 4G LTE, 5G SA and NSA modes, as well as sub-6 GHz frequencies. Advanced antenna technologies and algorithms independently select the strongest network signal. The indoor unit supports up to 30 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections and uses innovative antennas to create 360-degree dual-band Wi-Fi coverage.
The Connect-Hub 5G indoor device replaces your home Internet modem and router, providing high-speed Internet access and connectivity to all your devices through one easy-to-use hub. It also offers advanced security, including WPA and WPA2 Wi-Fi security, VPN, DMZ, and IP filtering.
Pushing the limits of wireless speed means generating more physical heat. The Connect-Hub 5G indoor unit solves cooling problems without the need for noisy fans. The chimney vent design dissipates heat, while the silent built-in radiator and thermal phase change material work together to keep you cool.
Connect-Hub 5G was designed to allow virtually anyone to install an indoor unit without the need for maintenance. Real-time network signals let you choose the best location, and setting up Wi-Fi using the app takes care of the rest.
